Experience required: Job Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) - 2 years Education: High School/ GED Requirements: -Minimum 2 years of working with a title insurance company preferred -Practical work experience within the real estate industry or vendor management service companies -Preparation of closing documents, recordation and reading contracts -Review of Title Commitment for clearance -Address inquiries from clients, borrowers, agents, and internal staff professionally and in a timely manner -Prepare HUD-1 Settlement Statements in compliance with RESPA regulations, explaining Settlement Statements to all parties -Organize escrow requirements by reviewing lender instructions and ensuring compliance with closing instructions -Prepare transaction documents by ordering title reports, gathering existing documents, completing forms and statements, obtaining payoffs, and tax information -Complete closing by recording and filing documents; distributing final closing statements and clear title -Some business or industry contacts, ability to work with team and independently -Experience with bank-owned (REO) properties a plus -Energetic and outgoing personality and enjoys working with the public -Comfortable working in a fast paced environment Skills: -Proven customer service skills -Strong communication skills -Strong typing and computer skills -Must be well organized and detail and deadline oriented Position Summary: Responsible for the coordination of all aspects involved with finalizing the closing process. Responsible for closing documents in accordance with state requirements and client instructions. Communicates with client, borrower, internal staff and other associated outside agencies to facilitate all closing issues in a timely manner.
