MLTA 2023 Day at the Capitol

Registration

• The event is FREE and boxed lunches are provided but registration is required.
• Signup by Wednesday, February 1^st so we have time to schedule appointments with your legislators.
• Additional registrants are welcome, but appointment availability may be limited.

Attendees

• The room is yet to be determined but we will be meeting at the State Capitol. 
• Please arrive by 12:00 p.m. as appointments begin shortly afterward.
• Name badges will be provided but we invite attendees to wear the name tags provided by their companies.

Details

Legislators want to hear from the people they serve, and personal contact is one of the best ways to reach them. MLTA's Day at the Capitol provides this opportunity and is one of the most effective tools we have to communicate the value of our profession and to share any concerns that may impact its future.

Participation in MLTA's Day at the Capitol is easy! MLTA will schedule meetings between participants and their state representatives, provide an overview of pertinent issues and share tips to ensure meetings are productive. All you need to do is register and show up!

When the event concludes, we'll gather at W.A. Frost for happy hour and socializing.

• If you require special meals or other accommodations to fully participate in this event, please explain while registering.
• Photographs will be taken throughout the event which may be used in future MLTA promotional materials. By virtue of your attendance, you agree to MLTA’s use of your likeness in said promotional materials.
