![]() ALTA Finance Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Rattikin Title Company Jack Rattikin III will be serving as ALTA's representative at this year's convention. Jack will provide an overview of issues impacting our profession from a federal perspective as well as an update on the important work ALTA is doing on our behalf. As a professional of the title insurance business for over 30 years, Jack Rattikin III is known as a valuable leader in the industry. Currently, Jack is president and chief executive officer of Rattikin Title Company of Fort Worth, Texas. He has held the position of CEO since January 2004 leading all functions of the company. He joined Rattikin Title in 1983 and was later promoted to senior vice president of operations and president in 1999. He is also a member of the American Land Title Association Board of Governors and chairman of the Finance Committee. He previously served as president and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Texas Land Title Association. Jack earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. Jack has a long track record of service to the community at large through active participation in a wide variety of civic, educational, political, charitable, philanthropic and arts organizations. |

![]() Former NATO Peacekeeper, Veteran, and State Representative John Kriesel may have lost his legs and three close buddies in Iraq, but he came home with a powerful message of hope and living testimony to the value of a positive attitude to overcome any challenge. John served as a NATO peacekeeper in Kosovo in 2004 before volunteering for deployment to Iraq. On December 2, 2006, his team struck an improvised explosive device (IED) and he was not expected to survive. He died three times in the operating room, but 35 surgeries and nine months later he walked out of Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He retired as a staff sergeant following 10 years in the Army National Guard receiving the Combat Infantryman Badge, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and other awards. In 2010 he was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives but decided not to seek re-election when his family said they wanted to spend more time with him. He is the director of veterans services for a County in Suburban Minneapolis, MN, a part-time personality on KFAN Radio, motivational speaker, and co-author of the book, “Still Standing: The Story of SSG John Kriesel,” republished in 2018 and winner of 8 national book awards. |

![]() Sr. Vice President, Industry Relations, Marketplace Strategy and Innovation, Stewart Title In his thirteen-year tenure with Stewart, Scott has managed key national lender relationships and contributed to Stewart’s lender strategy through various market cycles. Currently, Scott is responsible for Stewart’s digital strategies to enhance the closing experience with consumers and transactional partners. Scott will be discussing e-closings and provide a remote online overview. |

Those attending the Saturday banquet will select their preferred entre during the registration process. Options are

- Mahi Mahi with Black Bean Pineapple Salsa, Spiced Honey Ginger Balsamic
- Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin Medallions with a Pepper Demi-Glace
Registration Policies
- Members must be logged in to receive the member rate.
- Unless arrangements have been made in advance, orders received without payment will not be processed.
- Cancellations must be made in writing and will be fully refunded if they are received by July 18, 2019. Cancellations received after this date will not be refunded.
- If you require special meals or accommodations to fully participate in this event, please include a written description of your needs when registering.
- Photographs will be taken throughout the event which may be used in future MLTA promotional materials. By virtue of your participation, you agree to MLTA’s use of your likeness in said promotional materials.
- Attire is resort casual throughout.
