Dan Hamilton

Dan Hamilton, Director of Texas Education, Alliant National Title Insurance Company
The Outward Mindset

Dan Hamilton is currently the Director of Texas Education with Alliant National Title Insurance Company (ANTIC). Dan will share a new and intuitive way to teach people how to implement mindset change in themselves and scale it across organizations, with incredible effect. This strategy is known as The Outward Mindset which was developed by the acclaimed professional research and development organization, The Arbinger Institute. The underlying premise of The Outward Mindset is that one's mindset governs how one views the world, what one does, and how one does it. One's mindset can be self-focused, which Arbinger calls an inward mindset, or it can be inclusive of others, which Arbinger calls an outward mindset. It turns out that our own actions, and others' responses to those actions, end up being dramatically different depending on which mindset they operate from. The Outward Mindset teaches listeners how to shift more fully to an outward mindset and how to help others, even whole organizations, to make that shift – a shift that sparks innovation, increases accountability, and transforms collaboration, engagement, and fulfillment.

RON and the Future of eClosings: Become an Advocate for Change
More than two-thirds of the United States have legalized remote online notarization (RON), and federal legislation setting forth a uniform framework is making its way through Congress. Minnesota passed its RON law in 2019. Social distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic hastened the adoption of eClosings, which received the blessing of secondary market investors. Consumers continue to expect and demand fast, friction-free products and services. Yet, despite these factors, we are still not seeing widespread RON adoption. As the recent refinance boom begins to fade, title insurance professionals have a prime window of opportunity to become advocates for much-needed change and modernization in mortgage closings. Join this panel discussion about how you can lead these efforts, and learn: Where we’ve been, where we are, and how we can succeed by implementing RON How to help your customers and partners embrace change and clear adoption hurdles What RON vendors are doing to educate and collaborate with industry players on RON adoption.
