MLTA Day at the Capitol

Attention Registrants:

Thank you for joining us on Monday, February 27 for our annual Day at the Capitol.  Sustained personal contact is one of the most effective tools we have to communicate the value of our profession to state lawmakers.  Your participation in this annual event is essential in helping us develop a strong and meaningful voice.

Please note a few important details. 

• Senator Karin Housley will be speaking to our group at 10:30 a.m. so please arrive promptly at 10:00 a.m. to check in. 
• Appointments have been scheduled.  A final list will be provided the day of the event.   Most will take place in the afternoon but some may be earlier.
• If you are unable to attend, please let MLTA know as soon as possible.  Last-minute cancellations and especially "no-shows" are strongly discouraged because they disrupt legislators' schedules which may impact our ability to meet with them in the future.
• Finally, when appointments are over, we'll gather at W.A. Frost for an early dinner and socializing (optional).
