SESSION DESCRIPTIONS
Mortgage Fraud: Helping Protect the American Dream
Mike Dudley, Jennifer Khan and Ann Raymer
Did you know that Mortgage Fraud ranks as the third highest issue of the FBI in Minnesota and the Dakotas? And because of the problems associated with mortgage fraud we’ve put a program together geared to industry professionals. The presentation will cover the different criminal violations usually present in mortgage fraud; typical participants in a mortgage fraud scheme; descriptions of the types of schemes involved in mortgage fraud; and warning flags that there may be mortgage fraud occurring. Case studies of high profile mortgage fraud cases will be used to highlight the above information. The presentation will be made by the FBI and the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office.
