Introduction to Closing
“Intro to Closing” is a one-day class that is designed to give attendees an overview of the closing process . . . from Purchase Agreement to Policy. In order to give students a true closing experience, this class includes a Mock Closing. A "real" closing is acted out, and title and loan documents are explained. This class is best suited for new closers, aspiring closers, closing assistants or other title professionals who have an interest in learning the basics of the closing process.

TITLE GIVES BACK Minnesota food shelves are experiencing record numbers of families needing assistance. MLTA is responding to this challenge by conducting food drives at each educational event it holds in 2009 including its annual Convention. |
![]() |
If you are unable to attend an event, you can still participate in Title Gives Back by donating items to the food shelf in your own community.
All contributors will be recognized on MLTA's website. Those who make contributions at MLTA events will be listed on the website at the conclusion of each event. Those who make contributions directly to their local food shelves may notify MLTA of their contribution, and they will also be listed on the website.
The first food drive will take place at the March 10 Intro to Closing course in Duluth. Attendees are invited to bring cash or food donations to the event, and MLTA will deliver them to Duluth's Emergency Food Shelf in care of the CHUM (Churches United in Ministry) Center.
Contributions are Matched in March!
Minnesota FoodShare conducts an annual campaign during which all gifts, both food and money, collected during the month of March are proportionally matched by Minnesota FoodShare and the Feinstein Foundation!
